About Us
Hollars and Dollars started in August 2008 as a collaboration project between Ryan of Mint Web Design and I, Mista Kay Himself. Mint Web does all the designing and maintenance of the site and Mista Kay Himself writes all the posts. We are based in Calgary Alberta, a city with tremendous growth both in population as well as in the street scene. Boutiques, Art shows/Gallaries, and music events are becoming more and more of a demand for us here. Also there are so many talented people that pursue the Arts, Music and other talents that go by getting unoticed by even ones in our own city, let alone the world. I wanted to create a site where people could be informed of these people with such talent, and also be informed of upcoming events in Calgary so that we can support this growth. Hollars and Dollars also serves as an output where I can share with others some things that I personally enjoy reading about and listening to. I hope that you enjoy reading these posts as much as I have enjoyed writing them. Feel free to leave us any comments!
