I didn’t realize how many bands/artists are out there doing the Synth-Pop thing…and how many of them all sound the same. There’s some that stand out more than others and Owl City was one of them.
I don’t know much about him other than he’s from Owatonna, Minnesota, US of A, and Im not gonna try to find out more, but Read More »

After seeing Winter Gloves live, I really started to like them a lot and so now Im gonna do a Cd review of “About a Girl.” As a band they had really good energy and good band chemistry so it made it really fun to watch them live. Once the show started, all the band members totally zoned into the music and it was totally evident in the sound and music they produced. Read More »

If Airplanes became soft like this cd title says, then Im pretty sure that flying wouldn’t be safe no more. Seriously tho, your all flying up off the take off and them birds like the one on the left comes flyin up atcha, then your plane rips apart cause its so soft, and then your face turns into something like the picture on the cover all like “Holy Crap” and then you freak out so bad that you lose your teeth and then get bad teeth and your eyes will peel out as the Man-bird sings a little tune into your right ear. Prrrrrrrt. That was the concept behind the art work…I know…cause i asked him. Read More »

Yo, Chigago/Jersey Duo, Kidz In The Hall has released their second album in May 2008 called “The In Crowd.” With big acts and big hype behind their name, Naledge and Double O have most defiantly made a solid foundation for themselves. Remixes feat. Pusha T, BUN B, and The Cool Kids is a good ender to the Cd thats for sure. Its a dope addition to the Hipster Rap genre (if you wanna clump it in there), with solid Read More »

Is it also too late to add a review of the Toronto based band Crystal Castles? I hope not cause for those who don’t know who they are, they are like the Beatles in the UK according to the Hip Hopper Cadence Weapon who toured with them for a while over there. If you haven’t heard their stuff, you should cause if you like Bleep blip blop sounds over female vocals, you will love these guys. Seriously, they have such Read More »

It seems a little late to be doin a “The Cool Kids” cd review but Ive come across so many people that still haven’t heard of them, so I thought i would put it up here so that people can hear them. Hip hop has grown to be a huge influence on its own in the sense that the street culture is largely dependent on the images thats pumped out by the underground sources. Pharell wears some green shirts and some green kicks and then all of a sudden, all these kids are rockin green kicks. Its funny cause just a few years ago, the punk scene was super underground, Read More »
